Petalogue — Shipping & Delivery Policy
Petalogue is a small, independent Brisbane florist. Every bouquet is arranged by hand and delivered personally by us, which means we keep our delivery zone tight so we can guarantee freshness, care, and a reasonable price.
Where we deliver
We currently deliver to suburbs within roughly a 15-minute drive of the Brisbane CBD. This covers most inner-city and inner-ring suburbs. If you are unsure whether your suburb is in our zone, enter your postcode at checkout or email us at petalogue.au@gmail.com before ordering and we will let you know.
We are not able to deliver outside this zone at present. As a small operation, longer drives mean higher fuel costs, less time arranging flowers, and a real risk of bouquets sitting in a hot car for too long. We would rather do a small area well than a large area poorly. As Petalogue grows, we plan to partner with third-party couriers to extend our reach. Until then, the 15-minute radius is a firm limit.
When we deliver
Petalogue offers next-day delivery only. We do not offer same-day delivery. To receive your flowers the following day, please place your order before our daily cutoff (shown at checkout).
Deliveries are made between approximately 9am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday. We do not deliver on Sundays or public holidays. If you need flowers to arrive on a specific day, please order at least 48 hours in advance to give us the best chance of accommodating you.
We cannot guarantee a specific delivery time within the 9am to 6pm window. Our delivery route is planned each morning to keep flowers fresh and fuel costs low. If a precise time is critical (for example, a workplace surprise that needs to arrive before lunch), email us at petalogue.au@gmail.com before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it work.
Delivery fees
A flat delivery fee applies to all orders within our zone and will be displayed at checkout. Because we deliver personally rather than through a courier network, our fee covers fuel, time, and the care that goes into hand-delivering each arrangement.
When you are not home
If the recipient is not home at the time of delivery, our driver will leave the bouquet in a safe, shaded spot at the delivery address, out of direct sun and away from the front kerb where possible. We will send a confirmation email or message once the delivery is complete.
For apartments, units, or buildings with restricted access, please include clear access instructions in the delivery notes at checkout (buzzer code, lobby drop-off, concierge, etc). If we cannot access the building and cannot reach the recipient, we will bring the flowers back to our studio and contact you to arrange redelivery. A redelivery fee will apply in this case.
Once a bouquet has been left at the nominated address, responsibility for the flowers passes to the recipient. Petalogue is not liable for damage, theft, or deterioration after delivery has been completed.
Incorrect address details
Please double-check the delivery address, recipient name, and contact phone number before completing checkout. If a delivery cannot be made because the address you provided is incorrect or incomplete, we will contact you to arrange redelivery at an additional fee. The original order remains non-refundable, in line with our Refund Policy.
Weather and other delays
Brisbane weather can be unpredictable. In the event of severe storms, flooding, or extreme heat, we may delay a delivery by a day to protect the flowers and our driver. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know. Weather-related delays are not grounds for a refund, but we will always work with you to find a solution.
Looking ahead
We know a 15-minute radius is small, and we appreciate your patience as we grow. Expanding delivery to a wider Brisbane area, including third-party courier options for the outer suburbs, is on our roadmap.
